Sponsorship is a dynamic relationship between the sponsored ministries and SND USA, furthering the mission of the Catholic Church by sharing the mission and charism of the Sisters of Notre Dame. Sponsored ministries in the network were founded and, at one time, owned and operated by the Sisters of Notre Dame. These ministries continue to be sponsored by SND USA and are each now separately incorporated with governing boards. The congregation is represented on each of these boards. The sponsored ministry network encompasses the four regions of SND USA providing:
Education
Special Educational Services
Healthcare and Senior Living Services
Impelled by Jesus Christ and his mission and our rich educational heritage, we provide a Catholic-Christian environment of educational excellence for the transformation of individuals and society.
We form persons who are skilled and committed to journey together in hope as witnesses for the responsible care of all God’s creation and for justice and peace, especially for those on the margins of society.
We provide religious and moral education to develop an integrated spirituality for global citizenship.
We provide opportunities and environments to help persons to claim and regain their human dignity, identity and self-worth.
We follow Jesus, our Master Teacher, and give witness to his spirit of compassion, hope and joy.
We form students to be reflective critical thinkers and life-long learners who have the determination to influence systemic and structural change.
The Rural Healthcare Student Experience (RHSE) is sponsored by St. Claire HealthCare and the SND National Sponsorship and Network Office. This program targets high school students seriously considering a career in healthcare and provides them with unique hands-on experience in a rural healthcare setting.
A faith-based community whose mission is to serve seniors and their families.
Committed to proclaim God’s goodness through a healing ministry.
Unique senior residential collaboration between SND USA and Jennings.
Affiliated schools have a past or present connection with the Sisters of Notre Dame and continue to educate according to the SND Educational Vision and Principles.
